Sales Assistant

Full Job Description:

We are looking for a friendly, outgoing individual to fill a full-time sales assistant position at our local, family-owned business.

Responsibilities:

• Greeting customers, and assisting them until sales person becomes available
• Answering phone calls, answering general inquiries, and taking detailed messages if necessary
• Processing cash sales and entering sales orders
• Tidying up the store and maintaining the sales counter each day
• Making sure smaller items such as spa chemicals and grill accessories are stocked and priced

This position requires standing for long periods of time, as well as occasionally walking to other buildings on the property. Five day work week, including every other weekend. $250 sign on bonus after 90 days of satisfactory employment.

The ideal candidates should:

• Have excellent communication skills
• Possess moderate computer literacy
• Have an enthusiastic, positive attitude
• Be highly organized with strong follow up skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $12.00 per hour

Education:
High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:
Customer Service: 1 year (Preferred)
