Swim Spa FAQ's

Swim Spas, also known as all-season pools, exercise pools, or fit spas, allow you to have the benefits of a pool with less maintenance, less cost, and less space. They meet the needs of both exercise enthusiasts and those looking for fun & relaxation.

Most swim spas are about 8 feet wide and available in several lengths from 12 feet to over 20 feet.

Think of swim spas as all-year pools. They can be placed indoors or outdoors, and temperature controls allow you to heat the water to your desired temperature, meaning you can use your swim spa all year long. Swim spas also generate their own currents, allowing you to swim in one place without ever reaching the end or having to turn around.

The biggest differences between a hot tub and a swim spa are the size & experience. The space and current in a swim spa allow you to swim in one place without ever reaching the end or having to turn around. On the other hand, a hot tub is meant for fun, relaxation, and hydrotherapy.

The jets that create the current allow you to swim in place as you would in a regular pool. The speed is adjustable to your preferences depending on factors like age, strength, and technique. This allows swim spas to be safe for everyone from children to adults.

Insulated covers allow you to keep the heat in and dirt out (while also maximizing the efficiency of the spa). Far fewer chemicals are required for swim spas than for pools because they hold less water and have higher-functioning filtration systems.
